Live at the Village: Benny Lee and his Country Syncopators

Benny Lee is mixing his passion for Classic Country Music and Early Jazz in a single repertoir, taking his inspiration from some of the pioneers of northern american music such as Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams, Flatt and Scruggs or Johnny Cash but also more contemporary artists like Del Mccoury or Pokey Lafarge.
The lineup is clearly inspired by the Merle Travis band from mid 40s with Steel Guitar, Trumpet, Accordion, Guitar and Doublebass. It gives the band a large field to explore differents registers and make swing any country song.
